Therapie kennen wir, aber was ist Therapie in Hypnose?

Die Geschichte der Therapie reicht bis in die Antike zurück, wo psychische und emotionale Probleme oft mit einer Kombination aus religiösen Ritualen, spirituellen Praktiken und pflanzlichen Heilmitteln behandelt wurden. Das moderne Konzept der Therapie als systematische Behandlung von psychischen Problemen und psychischen Erkrankungen entstand jedoch erst im späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert mit dem Aufkommen der von Sigmund Freud und anderen entwickelten psychoanalytischen Theorie und Praxis.
Im Laufe des 20. Jahrhunderts entstanden verschiedene Therapieschulen, unter anderem der Behaviorismus, die humanistische Psychologie und die kognitive Verhaltenstherapie. Heute entwickelt sich die Therapie weiter, und es steht eine breite Palette von Ansätzen und Techniken zur Verfügung, um Menschen bei der Bewältigung ihrer psychischen Probleme zu unterstützen. Das wissenschaftliche Verständnis und die Anwendung der Hypnose wurden jedoch Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts eingeschränkt, als verhaltenstherapeutische und kognitiv-behaviorale Therapien aufkamen und sich durchsetzten.
Heute gilt die Hypnose als komplementäre und alternative Therapie und wird von einigen psychiatrischen Fachkräften als ergänzende Behandlung für eine Reihe von Erkrankungen wie Angstzustände, Depressionen, Schmerztherapie und andere eingesetzt. Therapie in Hypnose kommt mehr und mehr auch in der Schulmedizin an.
Hypnose ist ein Zustand konzentrierter Aufmerksamkeit und erhöhter Suggestibilität, der durch verschiedene Techniken herbeigeführt werden kann, z. B. durch geführte Imaginationen, progressive Entspannung und andere. In der Therapie wird Hypnose manchmal als ergänzende oder begleitende Behandlung für eine Reihe von Erkrankungen eingesetzt, darunter Angstzustände, Depressionen, Schmerztherapie und andere.
Zu den Zielen des Einsatzes von Hypnose in der Therapie kann es gehören, der Person Zugang zu unbewussten Gedanken und Gefühlen zu verschaffen, negative Überzeugungen und Verhaltensweisen zu verändern und Symptome wie Schmerzen oder Ängste zu lindern.
